How to Learn English Grammar is a book written especially to those learning English grammar in which English as a foreign language. In this book some basic grammar information is given to provide the readers with understanding of basic grammatical points. This book is inspired by problems faced by many Indonesian people, including Indonesian EFL learners, in learning English grammar. I hear so many people say that “learning English grammar is difficult and boring”. To the best of my understanding based on my experience as an English lecturer teaching English grammar, such facts are undeniable. However, this happens because of learners’ lack of knowledge about what to do in learning English grammar. Thus, in this book are involved things that EFL learners need to understand. The principal aim of the book is to present EFL learners with some crucial information related to grammatical points to master in order to make them able to learn English grammar easily. In the book is included information about English grammar and usage., and some exercises to provide extensive and varied practice that encourages growth in all areas of language use. The book consists of twelve chapters. In chapter 1 is introduced parts of speech, similarities and differences in sentence structures between Indonesian language and English language, rules to apply in sentences, types of sentences, and English tenses. The next chapters (chapter 2 up to chapter 9) elaborate parts of speech. Chapter 10 and Chapter 11 provide the readers with information about similarities and differences in sentence structures between Indonesian language and English language. In chapter 12, types of sentences that both (Indonesian language and English language) have provided. The last chapter (Chapter 13) provides information about 12 English tenses.
